A visit with John Tanner Sumners

Our precious friend and Madison's Kindergarten Teacher, Sherry Sumners, just recently had her little Angel...John Tanner Sumners! Sherry had us over for a BBTN Clothing show and visit. We got to meet John Tanner, and he is just perfect! We enjoyed our visit and it was so good to see them.....PRECIOUS! Madison just loved holding him and of course I did too! Pat even got to meet John Tanner. We are so happy for the Sumner's and cherish our friendship! You do not find many Ole Miss girls teaching in Alabama, and we just lucked up with Sherry! We like to joke around, and now we have another little REBEL in Alabama! Of course...for Pat, Madison likes Bama too!

Meet the Teacher and 1st Day of 1st Grade

Madison off to 1st Grade!
It has been a bittersweet week! Our baby girl is now an official 1st Grader! On August 10, Madison went to meet her 1st Grade Teacher, Ms. Floyd, whom we love! Today on August 12, we sent Madison off, with all smiles to 1st Grade. Madison was so excited, and we are just so proud of her all the way around! Pat and I drove her together this morning and dropped her off in carpool line...what a big girl she was! Of course, as soon as we drove away, the tears started flowing down my face, but I am so happy for her! I miss my girl today, but cannot wait to hear about her big day!

Summer Vacation 2010

We recently just had a family vacation to Boca Raton, Florida. We stayed at the Boca Beach Club, and it was so luxurious and beautiful! Most of all we enjoyed much needed time together, rest and relaxation.
